1. How do I store documents with you?

- Visit our offices at 4 Battery Road, #29-00, Bank of China Building, Singapore 049908. Bring (i) your documents for storage; and (ii) your NRIC or state-issued identification card for verification of your identity.
- Subscribe to our services at our offices.
- We will verify that the documents you wish to store with us are in fact physical documents and not illegal items.
- We will make a copy of your identification information so that we can verify your identity when you retrieve your documents in the future.
- We will seal the envelope in your presence and take it away for secure storage.
2. How do I retrieve my documents?
There are 3 ways you can retrieve documents stored with us:

Attorneys or donees pursuant to a General or Lasting Power of Attorney
Lawyers/Executors retrieving your will/document(s) after your death

- Visit our offices at 4 Battery Road, #29-00, Bank of China Building, Singapore 049908.
- Bring your NRIC or state-issued identification card.
- We will verify your identity.
- Upon successful verification, we will return your sealed documents.
Attorneys or donees pursuant to a General or Lasting Power of Attorney
- Your attorney or donee will need to visit our offices in person at 4 Battery Road, #29-00, Bank of China Building, Singapore 049908.
- He/She should bring their NRICs or state-issued identification cards and the authorizing document from the Office of the Public Guardian or other relevant authority (e.g. the General or Lasting Power of Attorney).
- We will verify his/her identity and the authorizing document.
- Upon successful verification, we will release your sealed documents.
Lawyers/Executors retrieving your will/document(s) after your death
- Your lawyers or executors will need to visit our offices in person at 4 Battery Road, #29-00, Bank of China Building, Singapore 049908
- They should bring NRICs or state-issued identification cards, and your original death certificate.
- We will verify their identities and the death certificate.
- Upon successful verification, we will release your sealed documents.
3. What kind of documents can I store with you?
Any kind of physical document that fits into a single A4 or US Letter-sized Manila envelope. Electronic storage devices such as flash drives and hard drives are not permitted. No illegal items or substances should be stored with us. Such items or substances will be reported to the police. 4. How large a set of documents can I store with you?
As much as you're able to fit into a single A4 or US Letter-sized Manila envelope.

5. Can companies store documents with you?
You can store documents with us on behalf of your company, but must be authorized by your company to do so. Your company's board of directors must issue us a resolution to authorize you and/or other specified people in your company retrieval and access rights to the documents. You will need to provide us with the authorized persons' (i) full names; (ii) identification numbers; and (iii) positions in the company.

6. What happens when I terminate my subscription to BRIEFCASE?
Simply come by our offices within sixty (60) days to retrieve your documents. Remember to bring identification such as your NRIC or state-issued identification card so we can validate your identity.
